Hope you feel better soon, Chief!
Maybe you can ask Jeff to stand in for you.
Nice! Sounds like an awesome adventure and experience. You can do it. One foot in front of the other! Plenty of time to get some miles as training!
Are you running or walking?
It's a walking one - cross country on challenging terrain so we're not allowed to run
Well done on crushing the fundraising & good luck!
On mobile the 'hit box' (size of area to tap) is too small for big fingers.
Had to try about 15 times to get the calendar up.
Yea you're right, mobile is too hard. We're on it :-)
Thanks Jake :)
Good to know!
Are we allowed to ask where? And very good luck with it.
For sure, it's going to be in the Wye Valley :-) nervous about the distance, nervous about raising enough money to hit minimum amount required 😬 thanks for the lucky wishes
Beautiful place for a wee stroll 😁 let us know how we can sponsor/donate.
Awesome! Well done, Jake. As a fan of going stupid distances, I wholeheartedly approve! :)
That's incredibly kind to ask Nick, I don't expect anyone here to sponsor, and I don't want anyone to feel any obligation. You can see my page here but again, there is no pressure to donate!! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mightyhikewyevalley
Oh thank you so much Nick. You're a good person, (and panda). Take care of yourself and thank you sincerely :-)
After what you do for us it's an absolute pleasure.
Donated :) , Good Luck Jake🏃♂️🤗
Oh wow you guys! Natalie I think you just donated? Thank you!! Ah this is exciting
Wow, that is great. Of coursr
Of course you are nervous. But remember, it is not about the time it takes you. It is not about if you make it till the end. It is about the fact that you are planning to do it. Well done!
That total is growing nicely Jake ☺
Isn't it! Some reallly lovely people out there! or they're revelling in watching me suffer on the big day ;-)
Lieteke! Thank you!!
No problem. Could cause. Both your adventure and the money for cancer! Don't forget to have fun!,
After I recovered from cancer I did a fundraising event. Cycling up the Alpe D'Huez. People cycled it in 1 hour. Did it 6 times. My cycling didn't go that well. Walked most of it. Took me 10,5 hours. Cried, screamed, laughed, hugged a lot of people.
It is not about the result. It is about doing it. You will have a lot of fun!!
oh wow that sounds like a real challenge!! I can imagine there will be tears and hugs on my marathon day too!! :-)
Definitely! Especially when you are getting tired annd people cheer you on. I would advise anyone do do this kind of things at least once it their life. It makes you feel great. Keep us posted how the training is going! We are in it with you
aw thank you :-)

And I think you can do the same for £1 and £2
thanks will try!
That's so sweet of you!
Did it work?
No not really cause I'm in Holland? Maybe I should use a landcode as well.
Ah :) don't worry about it, thank you though!!
Exercise of any sort can really help. I'm currently just doing some very gentle rehab work in the hospital gym with the physios. Makes me feel better every time.
I love going to cemetries, though I'm not as morbid as this may sound. Edinburgh has so many great cemetries, I was in heaven (and could visit only 3 or 4; sad).
I like taking pictures of parks too it's fun
