Congrats on the move!
I go to the city tomorrow. It may not be for very long but some part of me (my heart? spirit, perhaps?) is anticipating it.
How long are your sits? A few months ago I went back up to an hour (from 20 minutes/day) plus 10 minute body scan before bed because I want to go on retreat next month. Sometimes my mind rebels but I'm making to work because I know it's important.
I'm scared to try meditating again. Any tips?
My sessions go from 5 to 20 minutes a day since I started again last month.
You may not think that you're meditating 'right' but there's no right or wrong way to meditate. Also, don't be angry about distractions. They'll come and go but if you can deal with letting them go, it will make sessions easier and filfulling.
Non-judgement is the best tip, I agree Robert. I think that can be especially hard for Pandas, but it's a skill worth learning. The only other tip for beginners I have is to start with a small amount of time, but to make it a daily habit.
Thanks so much for the help. I might start out my morning with a short guided meditation.
fun next week before I have to start work again.
